THE MARITIME MOBILE EXPERIENCE

Trevor James Constable's permanent assignment to SS Maui, on her maiden voyage in 1978, provided an unprecedented opportunity to further develop etheric rain engineering. During the previous ten years in his sea career as a Radio Electronics Officer, Mr. Constable had been able to organize only sporadic, hobby-type experiments, because all his seagoing assignments were temporary and usually for one voyage only. What he was able to do during this hectic period, was pregnant with promise. Operating in the pristine environment of the high seas, with radar to objectify results engineered far beyond direct observation, was completely different to fixed-base experiments in the difficult, semi-desert environments of southern California. Operations were far more readily successful. Transfers to a different vessel after every voyage prevented any organic development of this research.

With permanent assignment to the Maui, etheric rain engineering experiments could now be steadily and systematically conducted aboard a fast, brand-new vessel, equipped with the latest radars. The ship itself was an official station of the World Meteorological Organization. The ship's radars were among Mr. Constable's professional responsibilities as Radio Electronics Officer The initial experiments aboard the Maui were authorized by Commodore C.C. Wright Jr., senior master of the Matson Navigation Company, late in 1978. His successor, Commodore Kenneth R. Orcutt USNR, extended this authorization. The flying bridge of this 720-foot long, 23-knot commercial vessel, flagship of the Matson fleet, became a mobile base for etheric rain engineering experiments. Maritime mobile techniques could now be explored and developed, especially the important engineering component of VELOCITY. This could now be studied in operations conducted on gyro-stabilized courses. 3cm and 10cm radars kept operational experiments firmly anchored to, and guided by results.

There were no textbooks to consult on this radically new kind of engineering. Results provided a discipline all of their own. If a stratagem or a new-design of translator did not produce objective results after a searching trial period, that approach was discarded or modified. Since the radars were a decisive adjunct to the eyes, that which did not produce results was considered a failure.

The theoretical descriptions of the earth's ether economy that are provided in Dr. Guenther Wachsmuth's classic "Etheric Formative Forces in the Cosmos, Earth and Man," could now be tested empirically, in the pristine high seas environment. The Maui work began with this, a task of synthesis: Dr. Wachsmuth's theoretical scenario should prove confirmable via Dr. Wilhelm Reich's cloudbuster. In the initial investigations, large-diameter (8-inch) water-grounded tubes were employed. This was the cloudbuster in its simplest form. There were no complicated variants when this work was initiated.

In Wachsmuth's sketches of the earth's ether economy, a flow of ether in the temperate zones of the earth, moves from west to east. Using the crude cloudbuster and testing this concept on the speeding ship with one of Dr. Reich's basic stratagems, it proved readily possible to dam up this west to east flow in fair weather, so that rain showers would develop "out of nothing" and come right over the ship. Some of the most compelling rain engineering video ever recorded shows this happening from zero, with an immense black band of moisture progressively developing for the time-lapse video camera. Several examples of this action are contained in the publicly-released video, "Etheric Rain Engineering on the High Seas."

Similar investigations verified the existence of the east-to-west etheric flow that prevails in tropical latitudes, with abundant video documentation in time-lapse. Verified as well were the north-to-south winter etheric flow of the northern hemisphere winter, and the south-to-north etheric flow of the northern hemisphere summer. Dr. Wachsmuth was right. So was Dr. Reich. The daily involvement of the chemical ether's "breathing" cycle, in and out of the earth, was verified over the years to be an intimate part of the earth's ether economy. The "inhalation" of the chemical ether into the earth in the evening hours, for example, is a contractive function that enhances rain engineering activity. Spectacular nocturnal rains can be engineered by exploiting the existence of the earth's in-breathing, and especially by the engineer UNDERSTANDING WHAT IS GOING ON, instead of blindly pushing buttons.

Vessel velocity in certain formats, greatly amplified and facilitated, rain engineering techniques through which results were tortuously obtained ashore from fixed bases in dry climates. In other formats, vessel velocity nullified normally dependable rain engineering techniques. Simple etheric vortex generators were designed, tested and proved, tearing great blue holes to the zenith and squashing huge cloudbanks down around the horizon like a gigantic doughnut. Compelling video proved that such simple etheric vortex generators worked effectively from six decks down in the vessel's storeroom, surrounded by not less than half an inch of marine steel. Radars provided continuous electronic evidence and verification of all these etheric rain engineering results in the maritime mobile mode. Time-lapse videotape and other supporting video, provided irrefutable evidence of the physical existence of the ether. When Sir Oliver Lodge said a century ago that "the ether is a physical thing," he was right on the mark. Sir Oliver did not know how to get hold of the ether. On the Maui, Mr. Constable found out how that is done.

In more than 300 Pacific crossings, literally thousands of rain engineering operations were conducted. Billions of tons of water were brought down out of the atmosphere. When it became essential because of shipboard requirements to completely abandon water grounding -- the original operational format of Dr. Wilhelm Reich -- successful designs were contrived, tested and proved that freed etheric rain engineering from dependence on water grounding. All along, water grounding had been a severe handicap dating from pioneer discoveries. Completely new types of translators were now feasible, and led to the present-day sensitively-constructed single hollow tube types, with no chemicals or electric power.

A supremely important adjunct to the 14 years of experimental work on the Maui was the intangible asset of operating acumen. This corresponds to the young doctor fresh from medical school, concerning whom it is reasonably possible that he will not kill anyone through his inexperience. When he is 50 years old, he is far more effective because of his medical acumen, acquired in years of practicing his healing art. In the same way, many years of rain engineering operations develop the special acumen for carrying on this art successfully. In etheric rain engineering, both the intent and the experience of the operator will influence success.

The following excerpt is taken from the updated version of "Loom of the Future," an interview book presenting an encounter between Thomas J. Brown, the then-director of Borderland Sciences Research Foundation, and Trevor James Constable. Mr. Constable states:

"Many times I stood on the Maui's bridge with Commodore Orcutt, as the ship raced along before a following wind and sea. This resembled low flying. The Commodore's genius mind would muse on getting my earthbound gear airborne: 'If you could develop something mountable on a light aircraft, I think you'd get superior results.' He dilated on this theme repeatedly through the years. As a skilled pilot and flight instructor, he was extremely air-minded. The Commodore never told me what to design or develop. His way was to indicate. Action was up to me. A computer specialist of immense ability, his mind functioned by just popping up vital information -- like a computer.

"These discussions kept me air-minded. Airborne etheric rain engineering would be our crowning achievement, but the rotating devices we were using successfully on shipboard could not be legally and safely mounted on a light aircraft. Developments had to wait until after my retirement from the sea in 1992. A breakthrough came in January of 1994 during anti-smog experiments in Las Vegas. A small, simple translator resulted that could be safely attached to a light aircraft. Precise dimensions and careful manufacture produced a rugged mobile translator. Would this simple structure, with no chemicals or electric power of any kind, and no spinning component, actually produce results through airborne employment?

'Initial tests in Hawaii revealed a stunning potential. A new epoch had opened. All the toil, travail and expense since 1968, appeared now as an essential preparation for the airborne mode. My own experiences, especially the Maui years, had endowed me with a crucial asset: operating acumen. I knew how to apply this vital new tool, what to look for and expect, and how to begin controlling the extensive results. Since the first tests in Hawaii, tests and actual operations in Malaysia, Hawaii and People's Republic of China have verified the dependable effectiveness of of airborne etheric rain engineering in equatoria. Further research will render these methods equally effective in the world temperate zones. Maritime mobile provings there have been conclusive."

That is the linkage of the fruitful Maui years to the airborne etheric rain engineering operations of today. Maritime mobile operations provided the foundation on which airborne etheric rain operations can prove to be one of mankind's greatest blessings, removing the curse of drought from the human future.
